Vector Presents...

An immersive multi-media project exploring the practice of secret- keeping, and the societal expectations and human reasoning that accompany it.  Born from interviews collected by choreographer Leah Wilks, “Secrets I Never Told My Mother” uses video design, audio documentary, and the movement of five dancers to navigate the brittle landscape of secrets and the familial legacy surrounding it.

The full-length performance in Durham's Trotter Building was preceded by a living installation at the Carrack Modern Art Gallery where participants were able to engage and leave their legacy on the space.

This was the 1st major collaboration of VECTOR, a partnership of Leah Wilks and Jon Haas in conjunction with various artists.
